Inochi Membership
Code of Conduct, Community Confidentiality and Policies
Inochi is a safe and open place where our members can express themselves. Creating positive and inclusive spaces is our number-one priority, our guidelines and policies set out what we do and don’t allow. They set out your obligations as a member and our obligations to you, with regards to your membership and experience at Inochi. We’re committed to these guidelines and we hope you are too. Breaching any of our policies may result in the suspension or termination of your membership, your account being disabled, or other restrictions. Inochi requires adherence to accepted standards of conduct to safeguard the use and enjoyment of Inochi by our members and their guests. You are responsible for ensuring that your guests also abide by the following guidelines and policies.
Membership Values
To make Inochi a safe and welcoming place, we ask all our members, their guests and our teams to follow our standards of behavior. They are:
Kindness and Respect
Inochi is created to be a place of inclusivity. Inochi celebrates diversity. We do not judge on gender, race, religion, political views, sexuality or physicality. We expect our members and guests to do the same and consider the impact individual views and beliefs may have on others.
Positive Interaction
Respect is fundamental. Our network of members often share stories of kindness and connection they experience within Inochi and the team interactions. We have a collective responsibility to ensure that racist, sexist, homophobic or any form of abusive language is not tolerated.
Decent Behavior
A shared understanding of behavior is essential to creating a safe and welcoming time at Inochi. Having fun is always encouraged; being over-familiar or inappropriate is not. If you or your guests are found abusing alcohol or drugs at Inochi, or behaving in a way that upsets other members, action will be taken.
Respecting Privacy
In view of the fact that Inochi is a private space away from the general public, members and their guests should be mindful of approaching people who may deem it as unwanted attention and may not wish to be disturbed. Doing so may lead to suspension or termination of membership.
Inochi Member Pledge
Inochi is a space for its diverse community and teams to find connection, regulation, and inspiration. Inochi is a safe, friendly home away from home for everyone. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to any social bias and discrimination, and expect the same from those with Inochi member accounts.
Share With Us
We’re inspired by the diversity of our members. If you have a negative experience, we ask that you let us know immediately, so we can take appropriate action. Speak to the manager on duty, anyone on the membership team, or contact us at inochiteahouse@gmail.com

Every member binds themselves to abide by the rules, policies and guidelines of Inochi at all times. If Inochi considers that any member’s (or their guests) conduct either inside or outside of Inochi premises is, at its absolute discretion, contrary to the interests of Inochi, Inochi may with immediate effect expel the member or guest from the premises, and/or suspend or terminate that member’s membership without having to give any reason to such member or guest. If a member is placed on suspension for any reason, Inochi reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to charge and collect such member’s membership dues and fees during such period of suspension, should they so arise.
Membership Behavior Committee
Membership Review
Members who don’t follow the values and standards of behavior risk their membership being reviewed by the Membership Behavior Committee. This could result in your membership being suspended or revoked. Members are also responsible for ensuring that their guests follow these same rules, and if these are violated the same repercussions will apply to the member.
The process for this is as follows:
An incident involving a member or their guest(s) either happens at Inochi premises, an offsite event, or in circumstances that may affect our Inochi community.
The membership team reviews the incident and sources witness statements.
The membership of the member(s) involved is paused while this investigation is happening.
Once all the facts have been reviewed, the Membership Behavior Committee decides on a final decision.
This decision is communicated to the member(s) and they are either given a caution, or their membership is suspended or terminated...
Interpretation of the Rules
In the event of any dispute arising as to the meaning or interpretation of these rules, the matter shall be referred to the Membership Behavior Committee, whose decision with respect to your membership account shall be final and without appeal. These rules shall be governed and construed in accordance with American law and each individual with an Inochi member account agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States.
Inochi Friends
Inochi Friends is our referral program that credits your account for each person who signs up, and gets accepted into the Inochi Membership. Members are welcome to propose new applicants to join Inochi. Application forms are available at (inochiteahouse.com/membership-application).
For each Inochi Friend that successfully applies and is accepted as an Inochi member, you will receive cash credit to your account, to be used for any food, beverage, event, tea ceremony or merchandise of your choosing. Your Inochi Friend must add your current and correct details, that match what we have on record, in the Referral section of their application for you to receive your credits.
Credits
Credits can be found on your Inochi member profile and do not expire. They can be used for all Inochi offerings and can be used all days of the week. If your membership is terminated, you forfeit your credits and they can no longer be used at Inochi.
